ये दूरी है सुलगती यू,

जैसे रेगिस्तान में चुभती लू।

ये लम्हे हैं फ़िसलते यू,

जैसे बेहती हवा में उडती बालू।

इस वीरान मैदान में साया बनके,

तेरे साथ मैं हमेशा  रहूँ।।

 

ये खामोशी हैं गूंजती यू,

जैसे मृगजल का कोई जादू ।
ये बातें हैं बेहती यू,
जैसे आँख से टपकते आसूं।
इस वीरान मैदान में साया बनके,
